The Midwest Coalition of Labor is a non-profit coalition of unions dedicated to providing benefits to approximately 200,000 members. By working together to purchase benefits, MCL is able to achieve cost savings that allow unions to provide these benefits to their members at heavily-discounted rates. By negotiating together cooperatively using economies of scale, unions are able to achieve greater cost savings together than individually. These savings allow us to provide benefits to members at little or no cost to them. These benefits are in addition to what you already receive through your collective bargaining agreement and are for PBPA of Illinois members only. PBPA of Illinois is proud to be able to offer additional benefits to our members.
Benefits became available for active PBPA members on January 1, 2022. Unit leadership must submit the complete 2022 dues packets for processing before members of that unit will be eligible to participate. Click on the benefits book below for more information about these exciting new benefits.
